    A Rescued 93 240 Wagon

Working in a warm shop with room to spare is weird. Also not rushing because its not your DD. Yep, was right this is a square tooth on a round hole. Got a proper timing belt put on today, almost done. Also decided to drop in a no-ac power steering pump since I had one around and I removed...

    240 Bumper Dolly Build

The 242 has been getting in the way and I finally found some time to build a dolly for it. I need the shop room to work on “working” vehicles. The square tubing was free so I it designed around that. Got some 1.75” DOM tubing to slot into the bumper mounts. Then the bumper bolts hold it in. So...

PSA - Check your timing belt...

No noise, it seems fine, but there is wiggle room between the teeth. Haven't been around a running B230 in a long time, but the car felt as I remember they do. Don't know if it has skipped any teeth. I did rev the hell out of it too when I first got it running again. Just going to put a proper...

PSA - Check your timing belt...

...on your new(to you) car. I posted this in my project thread but thought it would be a good idea to post here. Whoever did this is an idiot. Thats all. Off to order a new timing belt! And yes, I've been driving it around, but not now that I've seen this.

    A Rescued 93 240 Wagon

My friend sold me some hydras, so I slapped the winters on it! Had these center caps sitting around for some reason, and they fit! He didn't have the original caps. Fuel filler leaked when I put gas in it today... not sure why. Not leaking when driving, so I guess maybe the seal didn't...

    A Rescued 93 240 Wagon

Relying solely on a auto 240s brakes in snow is a terrifying thought. I live in southern Ontario Canada and grew up driving these cars through heavy snow. Auto to me just feels like there is no control when things go wrong.

    A Rescued 93 240 Wagon

Found some basically new used winters for an amazing deal. My friends got some hydras I'm going to run. Yes, I'm going to drive it in the winter. Don't want to with the automatic trans though.

    A Rescued 93 240 Wagon

Welp, found another problem. How tf did those rear brake lines get crushed? Anyway onto the gas stuff. The gas was actually free flowing through the pump so I just collected the remaining fuel I can reuse. The weld nut on the bracket spun free. hilariously the upper bolt was finger...

1994 945 Turbo Ultimate DD Build

This is an awesome build. Love the OLED look, I've got a bunch of those ones sitting in a drawer with some similar ideas for them.

More stage 0 parts. I'm wondering if I should have just bought a new tank... 😐 Well see if the evaporust cleans up the tank tabs enough to remove the ring and be strong enough to clamp a new one on.

    A Rescued 93 240 Wagon

Removed the AC, wasn't just empty, a few lines were almost rusted through. So much room for things! ;) I'm not going to explain this quite yet, but I popped the freeze plug out for the dizzy because I couldn't remember if there was a geared shaft or not, but there isn't... Oh well. Also I...

Requesting help reinstalling transmission and replacing front struts

Hope you can find someone, but.. This, and loosen the engine mounts and wedge the engine back on an angle. I'm a small guy and managed to get a T5 in myself with a jack. Realistically you need a jack anyway, two people laying under there trying to bench the trans in is just. not. fun.
