Well here's a list of parts coming in the mail for it.

Just got my ssqv today.

And I am getting a intake manifold made as we speak for it:) I am just contemplating on weather to use a q45 throttle body or a 960 throttle body. I am going to modify them to be able to use the kick down cable.

Also I have a full 3 inch exhaust that goes all the way out the back strait piped that is gonna sound meannnn.

You've got a great looking car, man! I have an '89 240 DL (244) and I've been thinking a lot about putting a BMW 2.5L inline 6 in there but the more and more I think about it I would probably end up having to change the tranny and diff as-well. But now I'm thinking about putting a 240 turbo engine in, would that fit on the stock 5-speed manual tranny? If so how much do they usually go for?
 
What chips are you running? MS or ostrach tuning might be a good thing to start looking at. Id be willing to bet you could make 300 with a few more psi and a good solid tune. I dont think a custom intake should be considered now, bergen made over 450 with his(on a fully built engine), which i think was ported some and had a 960tb on it
 
I'm running lostartof chips and they are working perfectly. I will be strapping this thing down on the synopsis later this week and get a pre intake hp reading. And o will not go with ms or even a ostrich miless chips have been a set It and forget it for me. The car is daily driven over 60 miles a day and it is very fast on 2.4 :)

It will soon be much faster! With my homebrew manifold and higher boost I will probably have to swap the injectors. And the butt synopsis tells me the car is much faster now at only 15psi then it was with stock header crappy Turbo and 20psi. It made 269whp then and I think I will be over 300whp. With this setup+ the intake all on lh2.4 :)
 
So i have never been to a real volvo meet before so i figured i should tidy up my 244 and drive it down to big sur with socalsean. i got kinda out of hand and have been working 10 hour days on the car for the past 3 days. Honestly these days have been both brutal and super rewarding! heres some pictures of what has transpired.

First I decieded that the standard b230 intake manifold was restrictive so i decieded to make a hybrid intake manifold, i took a b21f manifold and converted it to efi. and you will see in the pictures why i did this, the manifold for one actually has a decent plenum, and equal runners are a plus. and the inner diameter of the runners is alot bigger the the b230 manifold.

i also had a completely janky harness, meaning there was a massive amount of crimp connectors and it looked like crap. so i removed the entire harness and shortened, re routed and solderd the whole thing. and the car actually runs better now:lol:

i found a bitchen momo wheel at the junkyard that made a nice addition too the interior and i also wired in audi 90 52mm gauges which look extremely nice in the car

i fabbed up a atp esque ultimate wastegate housing because the ebay one wasnt doin it, and i had to get rid of the aweful flux core down pipe i made

so all in all it has been a very productive three days and it is amazing how nice it is to have shop access and have all the proper tools!

I thought it was a custom manifold :-P

those things flow really well. probably the best you can do with a stock manifold. get a bigger throttle body on it?
