Changed my na b230 from 2.2 too 2.4 and fuel consumption is not like it was before the swap. Currently useing 0 280 000 967 and 0 227 400 169. Are there better ones for economy?

967 is a turbo file, if that matters much for na, also iirc, the 169 is also a turbo ezk. And yes you gotta use a specific o2 for 2.4

With the 2.2 it got a very consistent 22-24. Now with the 2.4 it's down to 19-21. O2 sensor came from 2.4 doner car. Need to test it? Tank is almost dry so I will try a different set of ecus. Any suggestions? Many thanks to all that replied earlier.

A 967 is Turbo ECU, the 169 is an NA EZK.

Also, you didn't answer which coolant temp sensor you have in it. If you still have the 2.2 sensor in the engine, it will run very rich.

What chassis is this engine in? (240,740-wagon,sedan)

My dad's 740 wagon with lh2.4 only gets 20mpg, but not maintained at all. You certain no vacuum leaks exist or any faulty sensors as others have stated?

Something isn't right. LH 2.4 gets the same mileage as LH 2.2. An LH 2.4 240 with automatic trans should be getting 25-28 MPG on the highway.

Just filled up. Installed a280 000 561 and 227 400 159. O2 voltage is .9 2.4 harness & amm came from a 91 with egr. It came with 280 000 933 and 227 400 162. This car was sold new in Costa Rica and serviced in Houston. Driving loop is 80%highway 20% easy city, very few stop lights ect.

The later revised na LH2.4 ecu is the 951. That is the stock setup for my 93 wagon. A 951 fuel and 169 EZK. It gets low 20s around town and around 26 highway. But it is M47.

I think the ezk boxes coming whith your ECU, is number ending with -207 or -219 one for stickshift the other for automatic transmission Both at B230FK -95>-96 Both these EZK boxes have sockets for the ignition chips (easy to upgrade).
