Intercooler better suited to Automatic or Manual

Just letting him know he's right, instead, of filling his brain with tribal BS. The best solution for 99% of us in the REAL world is a properly sized air-air intercooler/aftercooler.

A new friend in Houston was searching furiously for a manual turbo wagon and he was searching all over Texas and the only thing he could find was autotragic after autotragic after autotragic...so he calls and he's all "I don' unnderstan! I noticed a little wee bit more of a spool up time when I went from the stock intercooler to the NPR with stock 13c turbo in my 91 740...

I actually noticed lower spool time, and positive pressure 500 rpm lower when I installed a do88 intercooler (they also make silicone "letter D" t-body hoses!!!) instead of the stocker, and it really likes to rev out now. T04b.

It doesn't matter which car you put it on; just put it on. Then, you'll be searching for another setup for your other car soon enough. You will notice a difference in performance.

Something was wrong with the 930 you were in. Those flow crazy sick and have rediculous throttle response with boost.

The 1978 930 was pretty dead chugging along at 3000 rpm when you stuck your foot in it. Along comes 4000 rpm and you have definitely arrived at boost.

True! It took a pretty competent driver to extract the power available to you with that vehicle. Also, brass spheres of more-than-typical diameter..
